FOOD HUNTING I

The holidays has just started and it means time to enjoy life. For the past few weeks, I've been spending most of my money on trying new food that a few of my friends recommended and some of which are quite popular.
1) STRICTLY PANCAKES
Finally got to try Strictly Pancakes after so many times of saying that "I am going to try it" and decided to have it during for dinner.
The menu offers savory pancakes, sweet pancakes and you can also customize your pancakes.
I decided to customize my pancakes/ choose from the stack menu and this is how it goes. You're suppose to choose either 2 or 3 pancakes and then you can choose as many side dishes as you want and each side dish is about $2.50. I chose to get 2 pancakes $5.50 and sautéed mushrooms(must try!) and scrambled and the total price was $10.50.
My other friends chose to get 1 savory and 1 sweet. For the savory pancake, "Garlic Buttered Prawns" is one of the signature savory pancakes and it cost about $14. However, the garlic taste it quite strong therefore those who do not like garlic is strongly advised not to try it.
As for the sweet pancake,"WHAT-A-SPREAD!" and "THE DRUGGIE" are the signature, must try sweet pancakes. However, we managed to only try "WHAT-A-SPREAD" and basically it's peanut butter pancakes layered with Nutella served complete with Kinder Bueno and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. People who have a sweet tooth should really try. The price is about $11 but after few mouth spoons you might get sick of it.
The advisable amount pancake you should is about 2 pancakes cause it'll be very filling and their Nutella Shake is a must try even though I forgotten a capture a picture of it.

2)瑞春点心餐厅 SWEE CHOON TIM SUM RESTAURANT
As many of my friends say, Swee Choon is a must must try for supper or dinner so I decided to give it a go. The place is hard to find but it's better to have someone who drives to bring you all there or the only alternative that I know is to take to Farrer Park MRT Station and then walk along Jalan Besar Road.
We tried their famous Custard Buns and Shanghai Xiao Long bao and some main dishes that I can't remember. However, i can say that the food was not as good as I expected it to be and the queue took about 20 mins. I'm sure that there is somewhere that taste better than this place and if you're willing to wait and eat average tasting Tim Sum then this is a place for you as I personally think it's overrated.

If you like to have breakfast meals for dinner, then this is a place for you
Managed to only one dish cause it's really quite expensive. I chose "Tunisian" and it contains a pan of spicy shakshouka (tomato, onion, red pepper, chill) studded with Chorizo sausage, crowned with two fried eggs. This dish recommended and it's a signature dish of Wild Honey. Quite satisfied as the dish is as delicious as it looks however it's a little expensive about $22. Above all, it's a good place for dinner with friends and the atmosphere is really good. There are two branches one in Mandarin Gallery and another at Scotts Square.
